Downloading Voice-mail Messages


You will need to see the documentation for your e-mail program for instructions on how to set up your program to retrieve IMAP messages.


Cisco Unity Express voice-mail messages download to a folder called Inbox. If you are having problems retrieving voice-mail messages, check the following:



 

If You Receive

 


Meaning

 

Authentication Failed

 

Be sure you are using the correct user ID and password to access your Cisco Unity Express account.

 


Password Expired

 

Your password is expired and you must change it. You must log in to the Cisco Unity Express graphical user interface system to change your password.

 

 

Authorization Failed

 

You do not have the proper privileges to retrieve your voice-mail messages using e-mail. Contact your system administrator.
