Setting up Entourage with Business Email Lite (powered by Office 365)

Setting up your email account in Entourage Office 365 POP (Lite) is straightforward. Just follow these steps:

1. Open Entourage, go to Tools, then Accounts
2. Click New 
   
   
3. Select Mail 
   
   
4. In the Account type box, select POP
5. Click OK 
   
   
6. You should now see the Account Settings screen. 
7. Enter the following information into the boxes that are highlighted in red above:
   • Account name: this is the email name that will show in Entourage
   • Name: your name
   • E-mail address: your full email address
   • Pop server: outlook.office365.com
   • Password: enter your email password
   • SMTP server: smtp.office365.com

   
   

8. Click the long button in the Receiving mail section called Click here for advanced receiving options.
9. A pop-up box will now appear:
   • Tick the box next to This POP service requires a secure connection (SSL)
   • Click the small box in the top left corner to close the pop-up box 
     
10. Now click the long button in the Sending mail section called Click here for advanced sending options
11. A pop-up box will now appear (as in the screenshot below). Tick the boxes next to:
    • SMTP service requires secure connection (SSL)
    • Override default SMTP port and enter 587 in the box
    • SMTP server requires authentication
    • Click the small box in the top left corner to close the pop-up box 
      
12. Click OK 
13. Your email account should now be set up in Entourage.
