How do I forward call to my Nortel Norstar mailbox?

If you want your unanswered calls to be passed to your mailbox you need to set your extension to call forward to the voicemail system. Before setting any call forwards on your extension you must have initialized your mailbox & recorded your Name & Primary Greeting. 

Calls to your Norstar extension can be passed to your mailbox in one of three ways:

  1. Using the Call Forward feature: Press Feature 4 now enter the voicemail extension number *
  2. Programming your extension to automatically forward your calls to your mailbox if your extension is busy
  3. Programming your extension to automatically forward your calls to your mailbox if your extension is unanswered 

    * You can find the voicemail set number by pressing Feature 985 on any Norstar extension.

Call forward on busy & call forward no answer settings are programmed in your Norstar administration programming.
